“ Marx Cafe is a Mount Pleasant gem. I often pop in for a quick dinner and always leave happy. Tip Get the avgolemono soup and ask for black pepper! The menu is reasonably priced, and the staff are all great. Yes, the space is small and often crowded, especially when the live jazz band performs, but thats part of the charm. It feels a lot more authentic than a lot of pricier options in the area. If youre looking for a place that can be your local bar, then this more than fits the bill. Im moving out of the neighborhood in a few months Ill miss having such an awesome place be only a fiveminute walk from my apartment! ”
